Przebudowa drogi w Rewie zaowocowała niezwykłym znaleziskiem
W Rewie w gminie Kosakowo odkryto pozostałości chaty rzymskiej z pierwszego wieku przed naszą erą. Natrafiono na nie dzięki budowie ulicy Łódzkiej.
– Byliśmy zobligowani do wykonania badań archeologicznych – wyjaśnia zastępca wójta gminy Kosakowo Marcin Majek.
Specjaliści znaleźli m.in. materiały ceramiczne, pięknie zdobione znakami solarnymi. Odkryta glinianka pod pod chatą datowana jest na okres wpływów rzymskich, mniej więcej gdy Goci wędrowali nad Morze Czarne. Podobne, duże półziemianki rzymskie odkryto wcześniej pod Kwidzynem.
