Powieść Stanisława Janke w nowej, kaszubskojęzycznej odsłonie – w Wejherowie odbyła się wczoraj promocja powieści „Żółti kam”. Autor po kilkunastu latach od wydania tekstu po polsku przetłumaczył go na język kaszubski. Akcja powieści rozgrywa się na Kaszubach, głównie w Trójmieście, u schyłku lat siedemdziesiątych. Wikłając głównego bohatera w sensacyjne zdarzenia próbuje ukazać przejawy przebudzenia kulturowo – etnicznego Kaszubów i rodzącej się na Wybrzeżu opozycji. Do przeczytania Żółtego Kamienia tak w wersji kaszubskiej jak i polskiej zachęcał na promocji dzieła Mateusz Meyer – prezes Stowarzyszenia Kaszëbskô Jednota. – To może być świetna lekcja dla słabo znających kaszubski, choć jego zdaniem kaszubskie tłumaczenie nie jest tak błyskotliwe językowo, jak oryginał – tłumaczył się na spotkaniu w Muzeum Piśmiennictwa i Muzyki Kaszubsko-Pomorskiej Stanisław Janke. Jego zdaniem po powieści „Żółty kamień” i „Żółti kam” mogliby sięgać nauczyciele podczas lekcji, poleca też jego lekturę gimnazjalistom i licealistom.
