Postępują prace przy rewitalizacji osiedla 1000-lecia w Kościerzynie
Na ten projekt miejski samorząd pozyskał dwa lata temu 10 mln zł dofinansowania. Objęto nim już 17 wspólnot mieszkaniowych.
W ubiegłym roku rozpoczęto przebudowę budynków. Jak mówi burmistrz Kościerzyny Michał Majewski – teraz czas na modernizację sieci wodociągowych i sanitarnych oraz budowę dróg i parkingów. Częścią rewitalizacji osiedla 1000-lecia będzie utworzenie Kościerskiego Centrum Integracji Społecznej. Przez dwa lata z programu ma skorzystać 45 osób zagrożonych ubóstwem lub wykluczeniem społecznym. Mają m.in otrzymać pomoc w powrocie na rynek pracy.
