Pierwszą sesję nowej kadencji ma już za sobą Rada Gminy Stężyca
Uroczyste ślubowanie złożył wójt Tomasz Brzoskowski, a przewodniczącym rady został ponownie Stefan Literski.
Prezydium uzupełnili: Andrzej Hinc i Kazimierz Gruchała. Wójt Brzoskowski zapowiedział kontynuację dużych inwestycji na terenie gminy. Gmina Stężyca znana jest z organizacji wielkich imprez jak Przebojowa Majówka. Włodarz potwierdził, że impreza ta odbędzie się również w roku 2019, dodatkowo pojawią się też dwie nowe imprezy transmitowane przez ogólnopolskie media. Podczas pierwszej sesji radni wybrali też składy komisji stałych. Co ciekawe, aż siedmiu radnych nie miało w swoich okręgach kontrkandydatów, toteż pewni mandatu byli jeszcze przed wyborami.
