Na balu w remizie bawili się seniorzy z Chłapowa w gminie Władysławowo. Impreza zwykle organizowana jest jesienią.
Termin przesunięto na karnawał ze względu na remont siedziby OSP. Wystąpił zespół „Alibabki”, były tańce i poczęstunek. Za organizację odpowiadało Centrum Kultury, Promocji i Sportu oraz sołectwo Chłapowo. Życzenia seniorom złożył burmistrz Władysławowa Roman Kużel. Sto lat śpiewano dla Władysława Kaczmarka. 89-latek był najstarszym uczestnikiem balu w Chłapowie.
