Mieszkańcy Kiełpina zbierają podpisy pod petycją o budowę ronda
Ponad tysiąc podpisów zebrano już pod petycją o budowę ronda w Kiełpinie w powiecie kartuskim. Inicjatorzy chcą przebudowy niebezpiecznego skrzyżowania zamiast planowanej tam instalacji sygnalizacji świetlnej.
– Budowa ronda byłaby rozwiązaniem problemów z bezpieczeństwem w tym miejscu – mówi współtwórca petycji Bartosz Kitowski.
Chodzi o krzyżówkę drogi wojewódzkiej nr 224 i powiatowej ulicy Długiej w Kiełpinie. W jego sąsiedztwie znajduje się szkoła, są też dwie zatoczki autobusowe – co powoduje duży ruch pieszych. Często dochodzi tu też do stłuczek. Problem bezpieczeństwa na skrzyżowaniu w Kiełpinie jest bardzo dobrze znany w Zarządzie Dróg Wojewódzkich w Gdańsku. Jak wyjaśnia dyrektor Grzegorz Stachowiak – rozwiązaniem będzie budowa w tym roku sygnalizacji świetlnej, 10 razy tańszym niż rondo.
