Marszałkiem województwa pomorskiego został Mieczysław Struk
Marszałkiem województwa pomorskiego ponownie został Mieczysław Struk. Radni sejmiku wybrali go wczoraj większością głosów. Za jego kandydaturą oddano ich 20. W sejmiku województwa pomorskiego jest 33 radnych.
W ostatnich wyborach 18 mandatów zdobyła Koalicja Obywatelska, 13 Prawo i Sprawiedliwość oraz 2 PSL. Mieczysław Struk funkcję marszałka pełni od 2010 roku. Wcześniej przez pięć lat był wicemarszałkiem, a radnym sejmiku od 1998 roku. Marszałek zaznaczył, że „kwestią fundamentalną dla przyszłości regionu będzie przyjęcie przez Sejmik Strategii Rozwoju Województwa Pomorskiego do roku 2030″. M.in. trzeba się przygotować do nowego budżetu Unii Europejskiej na lata 2021 – 27. W zarządzie województwa znaleźli się też ponownie Wiesław Byczkowski i Ryszard Świlski – obaj jako wicemarszałkowie. Zmieniono natomiast członków zarządu. Krzysztofa Trawickiego zastąpi Józef Sarnowski przejmując zagadnienia dotyczące rozwoju obszarów wiejskich, Agnieszka Kapała-Sokalska zamiast Pawła Orłowskiego zajmie się polityką zdrowotną i senioralną.
