Marcin Gienieczko: podwójny trawers Gór Mackenzie
Marcin Gienieczko mieszkaniec Gminy Kosakowo dokonał podwójnego trawersu Gór Mackenzie jako pierwszy Polak i jeden z nielicznych na świecie!.1000 km w 44 dni. List gratulacyjny wysłał Polski Komitet Olimpijski. Tylko w Radiu Kaszëbë opowiada o tym wielkim przedsięwzięciu sportowym.
Trasa wiodła od indiańskiego miasteczka Ross River do miasteczka Norman Wells nad rzeką Mackenzie. Po trzech dniach odpoczynku w Norman Wells, w trakcie których leczył ramiona poranione podczas przeprawy przez dziewicze rejony góry Blue Mountain, powrócił na szlak wraz z kolegą z Yellowknife- Rupertem Dook. Dotarli do celu po 16 dniach intensywnego marszu.
