Leśnicy ostrzegają: tzw. lampiony szczęścia są niebezpieczne
Leśnicy apelują do turystów o rozsądek i ostrzegają przed latającymi balonami. To one były w tym roku przyczyną już dwóch pożarów w nadleśnictwie Choczewo. Latające lampiony to papierowy balon z zapaloną w środku świeczką. Wypuszczane są coraz częściej na plażach jako atrakcja turystyczna mająca przynieść szczęście turystom. Niestety stanowi to spore zagrożenie dla otaczających plaże lasów nadmorskich. W okolicach Choczewa na przełomie lipca i sierpnia doszło do dwóch poważnych pożarów. Jak ustalili strażacy przyczyną były właśnie latające lampiony. Jak mówi szefowa Nadleśnictwa Choczewo Ewa Rogaczewska – nieprawdą jest – o czym zapewniają producenci – że lampiony opadają dopiero po wypaleniu. Leśnicy ostrzegają jednocześnie, że nieostrożna zabawa lampionami zagrożona jest karą w oparciu o Kodeks Wykroczeń dotyczący nieostrożnego obchodzenia się z ogniem i zaśmiecaniem terenów leśnych.
