Kolejny krok w sprawie dwujęzycznych tablic miejscowości w gminie Kościerzyna
Gmina Kościerzyna zakończyła formalne starania o dwujęzyczne polsko – kaszubskie tablice miejscowości. Jako drugi, po mieście Kościerzyna, samorząd została wpisana do Urzędowego Rejestru prowadzonego przez Ministra Administracji i Cyfryzacji. Teraz władze poczekają jedynie na przekazanie środków na realizację tablic.
Przypomnijmy, że zgodnie z ustawą o mniejszościach i języku regionalnym pieniądze na wymianę tablic na dwujęzyczne finansuje budżet państwa. W tym roku w Ministerstwie Administracji i Cyfryzacji przeznaczono na ten cel prawie 1 mln złotych. W gminie Kościerzyna nazwę kaszubską otrzymały już 52 miejscowości – mówi wicewójt Grzegorz Świtała.
Dodajmy, że tablice oprócz miasta i gminy Kościerzyna, staną w tym roku również w gminach Lipusz i Dziemiany w powiecie kościerskim, w gminie Lipnica i Czarna Dąbrówka w powiecie bytowskim oraz w gminie Żukowo.
