We wrześniu w Wydawnictwie Oskar ukazała się książka Grass. Biografia autorstwa Norberta Honszy.
Günter Grass to postać, której nie trzeba nikomu przedstawiać. Gdańszczanin, autor Blaszanego Bębenka, laureat Literackiej Nagrody Nobla – a w dodatku literat, który wzbudza skrajne emocje. We wrześniu ukazało się pierwsze na polskim rynku wydawniczym całościowe opracowanie życia i twórczości tego pisarza. Günter Grass. Biografia Norberta Honszy to opowieść o drodze, jaką przebył Grass, by dokonać przewrotu w kulturze literackiej Niemiec i Europy. Od dzieciństwa w Gdańsku, przez powojenną tułaczkę, prace rzeźbiarskie i występy w roli perkusisty aż do wdarcia się szturmem na literackie salony. Honsza nie pomija również epizodu, który jest jednym z najbardziej kontrowersyjnych w życiorysie pisarza, czyli służby w jednostce pancernej Waffen-SS.
Norbert Honsza – prof. zw. dr hab., germanista, kulturoznawca, niemcoznawca. Profesor w PWSZ w Raciborzu. W latach 1970-2003 kierownik Zakładu Współczesnej Literatury i Kultury Niemieckiej w Instytucie Filologii Germańskiej Uniwersytetu Wrocławskiego oraz w latach 2003-2013 kierownik Katedry Języka i Kultury Niemieckiej w Wyższej Szkole Studiów Międzynarodowych w Łodzi. Visiting profesor na uniwersytetach w Bochum, Hamburg, Siegen. Występował z referatami na kongresach i sympozjach naukowych w Europie, Azji i Ameryce Północnej. Laureat Nagrody Kulturalnej Śląska Kraju Związkowego Dolnej Saksonii. Wieloletni współwydawca czasopisma „Zbliżenia” (Wrocław) oraz „Zbliżenia Interkulturowe” (Łódź). W Lang Verlag wydaje serię „Polnische Studien zur Germanistik, Kulturwissenschaft und Linguistik”. Członek kilku polskich i zagranicznych towarzystw naukowych, dwie kadencje członek Komitetu Nauk o Literaturze PAN. Obszary badawcze: literatura i kultura niemiecka wszystkich epok ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem literatury współczesnej oraz stosunki polsko-niemieckie.
