Dzisiaj poznamy najlepszego kaszubskiego maturzystę. Otrzyma on 5 tysięcy złotych ufundowanych przez kaszubskiego przedsiębiorcę Grzegorza Szalewskiego. Wyniki będą ogłoszone w szkole na Głodnicy niedaleko Wejherowa. W tym roku do matury z języka kaszubskiego przystąpiły 23 osoby – 18 na poziomie podstawowym i 5 na poziomie rozszerzonym. Najwięcej chętnych – bo po 9 osób zdawało kaszubską maturę w I LO w Kościerzynie i w Brusach – w Kaszubskim Liceum Ogólnokształcącym. 2 osoby napisały ją w Kartuzach a także po jednej osobie w Malborku, Władysławowie i Wejherowie. Matura na poziomie podstawowym składała się z 2 części: testu leksykalno – gramatycznego oraz przekładu tekstu z języka kaszubskiego na polski. Wyniki z tego egzaminu nie miały wpływu na zdawalność matury, a punkty z kaszubskiej matury brane są pod uwagę przy rekrutacji na nowo tworzoną w tym roku etnofilologię kaszubską. To kolejny, oprócz nagrody finansowej magnez, dla młodych Kaszubów – mówi fundator nagrody Grzegorz Szalewski. Wręczenie nagrody dla najlepszego maturzysty z języka kaszubskiego odbędzie się dzisiaj w szkole na Głodnicy koło Wejherowa o godzinie 12.
