Promocją książki o Kaszubskich Nutach zakończą się jutro Dni Kultury Powiatu Wejherowskiego. Przez ostatni tydzień odbywały się tam koncerty, promocje, plenery i wystawy artystyczne. W sumie ponad 20 wydarzeń kulturalnych, podczas których promowano miejscowych twórców. Starostwo w Wejherowie od lat hojnie dotuje inicjatywy kulturalne. W tym roku w na 33 imprezy w ramach konkursu wydano 33 tysiące złotych, kolejne 16 tysięcy rozdano w ramach tak zwanych grantów. Samorząd powiatowy przeznaczył również 185 tysięcy złotych na ratowanie zabytków. Sama działalność centralnej placówki kulturalnej, czyli Muzeum Piśmiennictwa i Muzyki Kaszubsko-Pomorskiej w Wejherowie, kosztuje starostwo rocznie ponad 1 mln 200 tysięcy złotych. To tam odbyła się większość imprez w ramach Dni Kultury Powiatu – podsumowuje starosta Józef Reszke. Podczas Dni Powiatu na specjalnej sesji wręczono też nagrodę Remusa za całokształt działalności kulturalnej, którą otrzymała znana pianistka i kompozytorka Witosława Frankowska. Zakończenie Dni Kultury Powiatu Wejherowskiego odbędzie się jutro w muzeum o godzinie 16.
