Czy na terenach dotkniętych nawałnicami dochodzi do zmów cenowych – sprawdza UOKiK
Czy na terenach dotkniętych nawałnicami dochodzi do zmów cenowych lub nadużywania pozycji dominującej – sprawdza Urząd Ochrony Konkurencji i Konsumentów. Oprócz województwa pomorskiego postępowaniem wyjaśniającym objęto kujawsko – pomorskie i wielkopolskie.
UOKiK chce ustalić, czy na terenach dotkniętych nawałnicami i sąsiednich dochodzi do ograniczenia konkurencji. Szczególną uwagę urząd zwróci na kształtowanie cen towarów i świadczonych usług. Niepokojące mogą być nagłe i nieuzasadnione wzrosty cen np. paliw czy materiałów budowlanych. UOKiK poprosił 13 gmin, powiatów oraz sołectw, a także wojewodów z terenów objętych nawałnicami o przekazywanie informacji o nieprawidłowościach. Ewentualne przypadki łamania prawa zgłaszać mogą również rzecznicy konsumentów oraz mieszkańcy.
Za ograniczanie konkurencji grozi kara finansowa w wysokości do 10 proc. obrotu przedsiębiorcy.
