CHAŁUPY: Surferzy okazali się złodziejami
Policja, ratownicy morscy i dwa wojskowe śmigłowce poszukiwały dwójki zaginionych surferów, którzy okazali się złodziejami.
Dwójka młodych ludzi, prawdopodobnie z Niemiec, wypożyczyła w Chałupach deski do surfowania. Gdy nie zwrócili sprzętu, służby ratownicze zaczęły poszukiwania – przekonane, że młodzi zaginęli na morzu. W nocy zatokę i morze przeczesywały śmigłowce Anakonda oraz samolot patrolowy Bryza, z brzegu szukali ich ratownicy. Tymczasem policja dotarła do świadków, którzy wieczorem widzieli surferów pakujących sprzęt do samochodu i odjeżdżających – mówi rzecznik policji z Pucka Łukasz Detlaff.
Wybryk naraził na koszty morskie służby ratownicze. Dostaliśmy zgłoszenie, naszym obowiązkiem było wyruszyć do akcji – mówi ich rzecznik, Mirosława Więckowska. Akcja poszukiwawcza z użyciem śmigłowca wojskowego i sił ratownictwa trwała 24 godziny. Wartość jednej deski surfingowej dostępnej w wypożyczalni to około dwóch i pół tysięcy złotych.
