Będą zamykać szkoły na wsi?
Likwidacja wiejskich szkół na Kaszubach może być konsekwencją zmian w przyznawaniu subwencji oświatowej na język kaszubski – uważają samorządowcy i członkowie Zrzeszenia Kaszubsko – Pomorskiego. Debatowali na ten temat w sobotę w Borkowie koło Żukowa.
Skrytykowali propozycje Ministerstwa Edukacji Narodowej, które o ponad 10% obniżają subwencję dla gmin, w których język kaszubski uczony jest jako przedmiot dla chętnych. Z tego powodu do kaszubskich samorządów wpłynie o blisko 13 mln zł mniej subwencji oświatowej. – To zagrozi przede wszystkim małym szkołom wiejskim, utrzymywanym z tej subwencji – podkreślał prezes ZKP Edmund Wittbrodt. Dotychczas gminy na Kaszubach z subwencji na język kaszubski otrzymywały blisko 125 mln zł rocznie. Wysokie subwencje trafiały tam, gdzie ograniczano liczbę uczniów na kaszubskim do odpowiednich progów i wag. Choć tematu nie dyskutowano w Borkowie o zdanie samorządowców w tej sprawie spytała Ania Cupa – Dziemińska. W Borkowie samorządowcy i członkowie Zrzeszenia Kaszubsko-Pomorskiego postulowali o zachowanie dotychczasowych zasad finansowania nauki języka kaszubskiego w szkołach. Do pisania petycji w tej sprawie zachęcają rady gmin i powiatów, stowarzyszenia oraz nauczycieli języka kaszubskiego.
