Będą kolejne odwierty gazu z łupków w nadmorskiej gminie Krokowa – już określanej najbardziej energetyczną gminą w Polsce. Trzeci już odwiert na jesieni planuje tam PGNiG, pierwszy poszukiwawczy odwiert zrobi też amerykańska firma Lane Energy.
Przemysł wydobywczy ropy i gazu z powodzeniem funkcjonuje tu już od 40 lat. Tu też znajduje się jeden z bardziej znanych odwiertów łupkowych – Lubocino. W lipcu tego roku na terenie gminy odbyły się kolejne badania sejsmiczne, tym razem zlecone przez amerykańską firmę Lane Energy. Firma już wydzierżawiły 2 działki w okolicach Jeldzina i Sławoszyna, gdzie jesienią odbędzie się kolejny odwiert poszukiwawczy – mówi wójt Henryk Doering. Samorząd liczy na zyski z wydobycia surowców między innymi w postaci podatku od nieruchomości oraz opłaty eksploatacyjnej.
