Roman Świrski: Edukowaliśmy rumskich rowerzystów
– Edukowaliśmy rowerzystów. Zamiast mandatów wręczaliśmy kamizelki odblaskowe – zaznaczył komendant Straży Miejskiej w Rumi, Roman Świrski.
Straż Miejska w Rumi w listopadzie obchodziła 25-lecie powołania jednostki. O swój byt może być spokojna. Strażnicy dbają o porządek, ostatnio zostali również nagrodzeni przez wojewodę pomorskiego za projekt „Rumscy Rowerzyści”. Jak podkreśla komendant Roman Świrski – Od początku Straż Miejska w Rumi otrzymywała właściwe zadania. Fotoradar był jednym z zadań, a nie naczelnym zadaniem. Straż Miejska w Rumi nigdy nie łupiła kierowców. Utrzymanie spokoju i porządku, pomoc niesiona mieszkańcom to nasze najważniejsze zadania.
