Naucz się korzystać z możliwości internetu – zachęcają nadal w Rumi. Wciąż można się tam zapisywać na bezpłatne kursy. Rumia znalazła się w gronie samorządów, które pozyskały dofinansowanie na projekt „Ja w internecie. Program szkoleniowy w zakresie rozwoju kompetencji cyfrowych”.
Miejski samorząd otrzymał 150 tysięcy złotych. To pieniądze na kursy, których głównym założeniem jest zwiększenie grupy świadomych i kompetentnych użytkowników internetu oraz e-usług publicznych. Mieszkańcy Rumi po 25 roku życia mogą się nauczyć jak zaspokajać potrzeby informacyjne, kulturalne, biznesowe, administracyjne, a także społeczne w bezpieczny i legalny sposób, przy użyciu nowoczesnych narzędzi cyfrowych. By nauczyć się tworzyć strony internetowe albo prowadzenia firmy w sieci wystarczy zgłosić się do Urzędu Miasta w Rumi.
