Natalia Szalk: Do 2050 roku milion chorych na Alzheimera
– W tym roku w całym kraju mamy 300 tysięcy chorych, a do 2050 roku ich liczba ma wzrosnąć do miliona. Potrzeba nam więcej instytucji, placówek, w których świadczona byłaby opieka nad nimi, choćby tylko dzienna. Odciąży to rodziny chorych.
Gościem Justyny Bronk była Natalia Szalk z fundacji Niesiemy Pomoc. Fundacja prowadzi środowiskowy dom samopomocy dla osób dotkniętych chorobą Alzheimera. Pytaliśmy, ile jest takich miejsc opieki nad chorymi na Kaszubach. Środowiskowy Dom Samopomocy w Sopocie ma dziś uroczyste otwarcie.
