Przeprowadzą badanie socjodemograficzne wśród bezdomnych
Kilkadziesiąt instytucji z całego pomorza, po raz siódmy przeprowadzi badanie socjodemograficzne wśród bezdomnych. Dzisiaj o godzinie 20 pracownicy ośrodków socjalnych wraz z policją i strażą miejską wyruszą w teren. Nasze województwo jest jedynym w Polsce, gdzie prowadzi się cykliczne monitorowanie problemu bezdomności. To najczęściej ludzie cierpiący na chorobę alkoholową, rozwodnicy, osoby, które opuściły zakłady karne bądź nie umiejący znaleźć zatrudnienia. W pierwszym badaniu przeprowadzonym w 2001 r. udało się dotrzeć do 2144 bezdomnych. Spis z 2009 r. wykazał, że osób nie mających dachu nad głową jest w Pomorskiem 2838. – Niestety bezdomnych jest coraz więcej i kontrolowanie sytuacji jest konieczne – mówi Kazimiera Leman ze stowarzyszenia abstynenckiego Kaszuby z Kartuz. Akcja liczenia bezdomnych jest powtarzana co dwa lata. Według wstępnych danych w samym trójmieście jest ich ponad pół tysiąca.
