Ks. Piotr Brzozowski: Pomoc duchowa ważna jak materialna
– Ponad 90 tysięcy świec trafia do rodzin. Ważne jest, że płomień świecy to symbol dziecka, któremu pomagamy, kupując świecę. Dzięki zebranym funduszom możemy pomagać dzieciom przez cały rok – opisywał Wigilijne Dzieło Pomocy Dzieciom ks. Piotr Brzozowski.
Szybkie tempo życia sprawia, że przed świętami myślimy o porządkach i zakupach, zapominając o tym, że warto się zatrzymać, by pomyśleć nad sensem i znaczeniem Świąt. Jak co roku przypomina nam o tym Caritas, organizując pomoc materialną i duchową. Ks. Piotr Brzozowski z Caritas Archidiecezji Gdańskiej mówił o Wigilijnym Dziele Pomocy Dzieciom, papierowych torbach czyli Tutkach Miłosierdzia i Liście do Bliźniego.
– W tym roku przygotowaliśmy więcej Tutek Miłosierdzia, bo około 10 tysięcy. W Tutce zmieści się 10 kg jedzenia. Oprócz tego zachęcamy do pisania Listu do Bliźniego, bo wsparcie duchowe jest równie ważne jak pomoc materialna – podkreślił ks. Brzozowski.
